Shawn Boyd, our resident polyglot, was raised in Washington, DC and New York. Shawn came to Hawaii soon after graduating high school. That two week vacation turned into an over a quarter-century long love of the Islands.
His mother being a hospital administrator and his father retired from the Army, Shawn joined the United States Army’s Medical Corps to fulfill the legacies of both of his parents. During his tenure as a “Ranger Medic” Shawn gained the leadership experience and think on your feet attitude that earned him the moniker “Doc” that he is know by even to this day.
Shawn has since worked in Print, Radio, Film and Television and is kind of a local celebrity. Always wanting to know the how and why he has worked on both sides of media production. Having a love for new media and business led Shawn back to school in 2000 where he has since gain three degrees in eBusiness and Information Technology from University of Hawaii’s Kapiolani Campus and Japanese from Tokai Daigaku Shonan Campus in Kanagawa-ken, Japan in 2006. Shawn currently has English, Japanese, Spanish and some Korean under his belt and is looking to expand to Chinese in the near future.
Shawn’s work as a “Genius” for Apple Computers, Inc. and now enjoys Cooking, Business and Motivation Books, Soccer, Wines, Cheese and Drinking Tea.

Kristopher “Topher” Schlund, is the resident geek, was born and raised in Hawaii. Topher is half Japanese and German. He has been interested in computer since is first computer a Commodore 64. It was not till his IBM 286 till things started to click and has been tinkering ever since.
Topher has Associates Degrees in Information Technology and eBusiness. Which basically is a geek with marketing skills. While getting his degrees he worked at Decurion Corporation and was part of Hawaii Information Technology Team. In which assisted the local and home office personnel in California. Topher also worked at Wesellthing4u as an Information Technology Support Specialist and at the CompUSA tech shop as level 1 support. During this time he made the transition to the Mac still while keeping in touch with is inner PC. After he went to work supporting a small production house Inseason Productions as well as Video Life. Topher has also independent contractor work for various small businesses to include Rainbow Drive-in, Phoenix Security, Club Roxzza and Ground Transport Inc.
While Topher is not in front of a computer he likes hiking, riflery, photography, and soccer, finding new eateries.
